Most homes buy every kilowatt-hour at the moment they use it. With panels and a battery, the power your roof makes at noon is the power you use at eight — and when the street goes dark, the house doesn't notice.
Your roof makes the most when you are not home
Production peaks in the middle of the day and your usage peaks in the evening. Without storage the midday surplus goes to the utility at whatever they pay for it — and in most of our markets that is well under what they charge you for it hours later.
The battery moves noon to evening
The battery charges on the midday surplus and discharges through the evening, so the hours you actually use power run on electricity you already made rather than electricity you buy. We size it to your evening load, not to a catalogue number.
An outage stops being your problem
When the street loses power a gateway disconnects your house in a fraction of a second and the battery picks up your loads. In daylight the panels keep refilling it, so a multi-day outage becomes something you ride out instead of a countdown.
The 30% credit didn't disappear. It moved.
You have probably read that the solar tax credit ended. Half true, and the half that matters is the half nobody explains.
The credit homeowners claimed on their own return — Section 25D — ended for systems installed after 31 December 2025. That one is gone, and anyone still promising it to you on a system you buy outright is selling you something that no longer exists.
The 30% is still there on systems owned by a capital partner. It goes to the owner, and it comes back to you as a lower price and a lower payment. That is the structure we build on, and we will show you exactly how it lands on your number.
There is a deadline attached: systems have to be energized by 31 December 2027 for that credit to apply. It is not a sales tactic, it is the statute.
Buying the system outright
Section 25D let you claim 30% on your own tax return. Terminated for anything installed after 31 December 2025.
Financing it with a solar loan
Same credit, same ending. The loan product still exists; the credit that used to pay down the balance does not.
Third-party owned
The capital partner owns the system and claims the 30%. You get the benefit as a lower rate, with maintenance and monitoring included for the term.
State and local programs
New Mexico still pays a refundable state credit on owned systems. Where a program exists, we file it with you rather than handing you a form.
Three things, done properly
Solar without storage saves money until the grid goes down. Storage without the right service upgrade will not pass inspection. We do all of it, so none of it lands on you.
Solar, sized to your bill
We design from twelve months of your real usage, not a roof estimate. Engineering is in-house, which is why our plan sets clear permitting the first time.
Battery storage
We specify the battery that suits the job and the utility, then size it to what you actually run after dark. One unit typically covers a fridge, lights, outlets and a furnace fan; whole-home backup usually takes more than one.
Electrical upgrades
Panel upgrades, service rebuilds, meter-main work and EV circuits. We are a licensed electrical contractor, so the hard part isn't subcontracted out.
